Jim "Pee Wee" Martin passed away at 101 years old. His biggest priority was to settle down and live a quiet life, he told The Dayton Daily News in 2014. When Martin learned that he was not healthy enough to travel to Normandy in 2019, for the 75th Anniversary of D-Day, members of the Central Texas Wing made the trip from San Marcos,TX to Xenia, Ohio to give him a flight before they left for Europe.
